Social Welfare Deptt Sets Up 4 Iftar Dastarkhawan

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2019 ) ::Social Welfare Department in collaboration with a non-governmental organization (NGO) set up four Iftar Dasterkhawan at various parts of the city where about 1000 people visit on daily basis.

Talking to APP, District Officer Social Welfare Department Muhammad Ahmed Chishti said the department had close liaison with different NGOs for organizing Dastarkhawans.

Sharing details, he informed that a Dastarkhawan had been set up at Gulberg colony, Masood Shah Road with the cooperation of NGO Umeed-e-Sehar where over 500 people visit daily.

Dastarkhawan has also been set up at SOS village where over 150 persons join on daily basis.

Similarly, Qasim Blind Centre also facilitating the people at Chowk Kumharanwala.

Another Organization namely Society for Special Person set up Dastarkhawan at Nawaz Sharif Hospital where attendants of patients joined Iftar.
