Thousands of Sikh yatrees from across the world including around 4,000 from India would come to Pakistan this year to celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Secretary Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Muhammad Tariq Wazir said that all arrangements including accommodation, journey, medical, trained doctors, Currency exchange and 'lunger' (free food) had been completed.
Also, special arrangements regarding foolproof security had been made for which services of rangers had been acquired.
Generators would be available in case of loadshedding, while CCTV cameras and walk-through gates would be installed. Dengue spray was also being conducted in all rooms of Janum Asthan.
According to vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the board would provide better and improved facilities to the pilgrims.
Soon after their arrival at Wahga railway station here on Nov 21, yatrees would leave for Janum Asthan Nankana Sahib.
The central ceremony in this regard would be held at Nankana Sahib on November 23 and the yatrees would perform their rituals.
During their stay in Pakistan, the yatrees would visit Sucha Souda Farooqabad, Gurdwara Rohri Sahib Emanabad, Kartarpur Narowal and Punja Sahib Hassanabad and perform their rituals.
Extra rooms for accommodation had been constructed this year while the basic needs including food, medical facility, travelling and decoration of Gurdawara had been arranged by the government.
