
Three Gangs Of Criminals Busted; Eight Arrested

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th August, 2016) : Rawalpindi police have busted three gangs of dacoits, kidnappers, robbers and extortionists, and arrested their eight members from various areas of the district besides recovering weapons, motorcycle, cash and other items.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Operations, Irfan Tariq addressing a press conference here Thrusday said Sadiqabad police team, headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Mustafa Kamal Khan Niazi, on the directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Abbasi after hectic efforts managed to arrest the criminals' identified as Ahmed Ali son of Shoukat Ali resident of new Shakrial Rawalpindi, Mustafa son of Shoukat Ali r/o new Shakrial, Rawalpindi, Liaquat Ali son of Noor Muhammad r/o tehsil Pindi Bhattian, Faisalabad, Muhammad Nadeem son of Gul Muhammad r/o Kunjah, district Gujrat, Naqas Masih alias Haroon son of Maqsood Masih r/o Peoples Colony Rawalpindi, Muhammad Faizan son of Muhammad Tariq r/o Awan Colony, Dhoke Kala Khan, Rawalpindi, Shan Shehzad Masih son of Shehzad r/o Daryabad, Rawalpindi and Imran alias Mani son of Muhammad Waseem r/o Sector-III, North Karachi. 704 was registered under section 324/386/506/25D in Sadiqabad police station against the criminals on July 7 following a complaint by a citizen namely Syed Ishtiaq Hussain who alleged that the accused tried to extort Rs.
3 million from him. A police team conducted raids and rounded up four members of money extortionist gang identified as Naqas Masih alias Haroon son of Maqsood Masih r/o Peoples Colony Rawalpindi, Muhammad Faizan son of Muhammad Tariq r/o Awan Colony, Dhoke Kala Khan, Rawalpindi, Shan Shehzad Masih son of Shehzad r/o Daryabad, Rawalpindi and Imran alias Mani son of Muhammad Waseem r/o Sector-III, North Karachi who were allegedly involved money extortion case. Police team comprising Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) New Town Circle Raja Tafoor Akhtar, SHO Sadiqabad Mustafa Kamal Khan Niazi and others also rounded up four other members of two dacoit gangs against whom 13 cases were registered in Sadiqabad, Civil Line, Race Course, Rattamral, New Town and Pirwadhai police stations. The SSP informed that during preliminary interrogation the arrested criminals confessed several incidents of robbery, dacoity, snatching of motorcycles, money extortion and other crimes.
