Traffic Police To Hold Snow Festival At Laram Top In Feb

LOWER DIR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jan, 2019 ) :The Lower Dir traffic police would hold a first ever festival at snow covered Laram Top, in a hilly area near populated Ouch village of the district in February.
The snow festival that aims at promoting the tourism activities and showing people the beauty of Laram Top hills in this scenic area will have stalls of different foods, warm garments and traditional culture.
Talking to media persons DPO Lower Dir, Arif Shehbaz said that to enhance tourism activities in beautiful Laram area and show the people scenic beauty of these hills, the traffic police have decided to hold a snow festival at Laram Top.
The festival, he said would have different stalls including of foods, garments, traditional Pakhtun culture besides different game events among the youth.
The DPO said the festival will last for three days and traffic police have been given a special task to make this festival a success story.
He said complete peace prevails in all recreational and tourists spots of Dir Lower and it was time to promote these beautiful places for national and foreign tourists.
He said soon a police post would be constructed at Laram Topto avoid any untoward incident adding that traffic police was playing its importantrole in the progress of Lower Dir.
