Wild Life Department Recovers 4 Chakor, 7 Monkeys During Search Operation

Punjab Wild life department and Islamabad Wild life department carried out a joint search operation at college road and arrested two poachers and recovered 11 Chakor and 7 monkeys from their possession

Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th March, 2019) Punjab Wild life department and Islamabad Wild life department carried out a joint search operation at college road and arrested two poachers and recovered 11 Chakor and 7 monkeys from their possession.A case has been registered against the suspects under wild life laws.

Both held suspects were shifted to jail for 14 days.According to the officials, monkeys were released at beautiful Murree hills while Chakor in Margalla National Park.Field officer Islamabad wild life management board Zaheer Khan said that a falcon was also recovered during another search operation.He said falcon was kept secretly in the weekly Bazaar.
