Zafar, Javed Visit Families Of Martyrs, Pellet Victims

ISLAMABAD, Jan 4 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 04th Jan, 2017 ) : A delegation of Hurriyet leaders comprising Zafar Akbar Butt, Javed Ahmad Mir and others, in occupied Kashmir, visited families of martyrs and pellet victims in Srinagar and adjoining areas.
According to Kashmir Media Service, other members of the delegation included Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Sajjad Ahmad, Musaddiq Meraj, Aijaz Ahmad, Nazir Ahmed and Sameer Ahmed. They visited residences of martyrs and pellet victims including Shabbir Ahmad, M.Shafi, Gulzar Ahmad, Nazir Ahmea Bala ,Mushtaq Jamshad at Khrew Shaar in Pampore and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of PHD scholar Shabbir Ahamad Mongu ,who was killed by forces in custody.
On the occasion Hurriyet leaders said that the people of Kashmir would never forgive the killers. The leaders expressed solidarity with victims and assured all possible help. They also paid tributes to martyrs Shamim Peer and Mukhtar Haji.
The leaders expressed anguish over the continuous detention of youth in police stations and jail, and said that police were unnecessarily harassing youth and making their future bleak.
