Chiniot Win Defence Day Kick Boxing Title

Chiniot District clinched the trophy after securing 61 points in the Pakistan Defence Day Kick-Boxing Championship which concluded at Lalian Chiniot on Saturday, says a press release issued by Pakistan Kick-Boxing Federation.
PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Sep, 2018 ) :Chiniot District clinched the trophy after securing 61 points in the Pakistan Defence Day Kick-Boxing Championship which concluded at Lalian Chiniot on Saturday, says a press release issued by Pakistan Kick-Boxing Federation.
Chiniot secured 61 points while District Lahore secured runner-up trophy after recording 58 points and third position obtain by Faisalabad with 46 points.
The Best fighter was declared Muhammad Awis Bagha of Lahore. A total of 15 districts teams from all over the Punjab took part in this mega Championship.
Sajjid Khan and Zia Sumran who graced the occasion as guests gave away medals, certificates and cash prizes in the individual as well as team event. The winners and runners-up and third position teams were awarded trophies respectively.
Ashfaq Jutt, Mian Rahman Hameed, Shafiq-ul-Rehman and Syed Kamran Naqvi conducted the Championship as Technical Officials (TOs).
At the end Shahid Pomi, who was the organizing Secretary of this mega event in his address informed that the game of Kick-Boxing is gaining roots in Pakistan. He suggested Pakistan Kick Boxing Federation to hold more and more competitive activities so that the players could learn through competitions.
He said Secretary General Pakistan Kick Boxing Federation (PKBF) Rana Zahid Mehmood for taking concrete steps for the promotion of Kick Boxing in Pakistan.
