Following a meeting between the squad and the country's sports minister in Gabon earlier this week, players agreed to accept $5,000 per match in the first round and quarter-finals, down from $10,000.
Should the Black stars make the semi-finals, they would receive $6,000 each with $7,500 if they get to the final.
