KP Junior Age Group Defence Day Squash Championship Begins

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Age Group Defence Day Squash Championship got under way here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex
PESHAWAR, Sept 8 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Sep, 2017 ) : Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junior Age Group Defence Day Squash Championship got under way here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Friday.
Former World Champion Qamar Zaman formally inaugurated the Championship wherein more than 100 players in Under-11, Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 are taking part. Chief Referee Pakistan Squash Federation Munawar Zaman, Coaching Maqsood Hanif, Riaz Khan, Kamran Khan, Asghar Khan, Nazim Nawa Khali Sajjad Khan Khalil, Sher Bahadar and Wazir Gul were also present.
In the opening match top seed and Pakistan No.1 Humam Ahmad of PAF defeated Ameer Hamza by 11-6, 11-5 and 11-7 in a one-sided affair. Humam Ahmad fully dominated the proceedings and did not give much time to his rival to strike back.
In the other matches of the Under-11 category Azan Khan beat Mamat Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-5, 11-8 and 11-7, Saif Ullah beat Saif Ullah Sher by 3-0, the score was 11-5, 11-7 and 11-9, Mobin Khan beat Zikria Sher by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-7 and 11-6, Abdullah Nawaz beat Hamza by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-5 and 11-7, Shayan Khan beat Mufariz Ali Shah by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-5 and 11-6, Muhammad Nafiz beat Zohaib Hussain by 3-0, the score was 12-10, 11-8 and 11-9, Saki Ullah beat Luqman by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-5.
In the Under-13 category Muhammad Salan beat Shayyan Khan by 3-0, Sheraz Akbar beat Abdul Muqeet by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-5 and 11-5, Raheem Abbas beat Muhammad Khan by 3-0, Faizan Asad beat Mutahir Ali by 3-0, Nawaz Shah beat Huzaifa Zahid by 3-0, Muhammad Abbas beat Ahmad by 3-0 and Yaseen Khattak beat Owais Ullah by 3-0.
In the Under-15 category top seed Noor Zaman recorded victory against Aqash in straight sets, the score was 11-4, 11-5 and 11-4, Waleed Khalil beat Ammad Ahmad by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-6 and 11-7, Fawaz Hussain beat Afaq Khan by 3-0, the score was 11-6, 11-7 and 11-5, Khushal Riaz beat Talha Iqbal by 3-0, Hammad beat Jawad Hussain by 3-0, Nouman Khan beat Hashir Ahmad by 3-0, Bilal Ahmad beat Saad Zubair by 3-0, the score was 11-8, 11-9 and 12-10 and Ali Sher beat Taimoor by 3-0, the score was 11-7, 11-6 and 11-9.
In the Under-17 category Abdul Haseeb beat Uzair Shoukat, Zargham Khan Nouman Shah by 3-0, Javed Ahmad beat Mavia Hussain by 3-0, Rashid Daulat beat Rafi Ullah by 3-0, Aman Ullah beat Huzair Khan by 3-0, Ahmad Hussain beat Faizan Fayyaz by 3-0, Faisal Fayyaz beat Qasim by 3-0 and Waqas Akbar beat Kamran Hussain by 3-0.
