NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, France, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Nov, 2016 ) : Australian lock Adam Coleman is out of the remainder of his country's autumn tour after injuring his knee in the nervy 23-22 win over Scotland at the weekend.
Rob Simmons is likely to get the nod to replace the 25-year-old against the French in Paris on Saturday. "Obviously, Adam has got an injury which will keep him out of the rest of the tour, there's no doubt about that," said Australia coach Michael Cheika on Monday at team HQ outside Paris, referring to the medial ligament strain Coleman suffered at Murrayfield when a ruck collapsed.
"We'll get him home and get him healed and then he can have a holiday before next season starts." Coleman's loss is a blow to the Wallabies because he has impressed over the past few months along with fellow newcomer Rory Arnold.
Cheika will unveil his team on Thursday. After the Stade de France clash a Wallaby XV takes on a French Barbarians side in Bordeaux on November 24. Australia finish off their European tour with Tests against Ireland in Dublin on November 27 and England at Twickenham a week later. As well as Scotland, they have also beaten Wales.
