Roscosmos To Cooperate Equally With NASA, Despite NASA's 15 Times Bigger Budget - Rogozin

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 21st November, 2018) Russian state space corporation Roscosmos will continue its equal cooperation with NASA even though NASA has a 15 times bigger budget, Dmitry Rogozin, Roscosmos director general, told Sputnik on Wednesday.

"NASA's budget for 2018-2019 is 14.8 times bigger that the Russian Federal space program [budget].

This means that we have 15 times less money than NASA has. But in fact we can do a lot. We need to find a possibility to maintain equal cooperation despite our budget," Rogozin said.

On Monday, Rogozin announced that Roscosmos and NASA would work together on the concept of a lunar orbital station, while NASA Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations William Gerstenmaier told Sputnik that NASA hoped for Rogozin's visit in February 2019.
