5 Yemeni Civilians Killed In US Drone Strike In Yemen

Aden, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 16th September, 2016) : 5 people have been killed in a US drone strike in south-western province of Bayda in Yemen, on Wednesday. An unnamed tribal chief said while talking to media that the drone attack hit a car carrying 5 people who were claimed to be suspected al-Qaeda militants, in a town situated in the province late on Wednesday.
The US has been carried out drone attacks in Yemen and several other countries. Washington claimed that its drones target al-Qaeda elements, but local sources said that civilians have been the main victims of the attacks. The drone strikes in Yemen have continued alongside the Saudi military aggression against the impoverished conflict-ridden country.
