Air Raid Alarm In Tel Aviv Caused By Launch Of 2 Rockets From Gaza Strip- Israeli Military

TEL AVIV (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th March, 2019) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Wednesday, after air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv for the first time since summer of 2014, that it had registered launches of two rockets from the Gaza Strip.
"Two launches from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory were registered," the IDF press service said in a press release.
There have not been any reports on casualties or damage yet.
Local media reported that the Iron Dome air defense system had been used for intercepting rockets.
