Female US Terrorist Pleads Guilty Of Supporting Islamic State - Justice Department

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd April, 2019) A woman from the US state of Wisconsin has pleaded guilty of providing material support to the Islamic State terror group [banned in Russia], the Department of Justice said in a press release.
"Waheba Issa Dais, 46, pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to provide material support to ISIS [Islamic State], based upon her conduct in support of the terrorist organization in 2018," the release said on Monday.
Dais admitted using hacked Facebook accounts to pledge allegiance to the Islamic State, encourage other Islamic State supporters conduct attacks, disseminate information about explosives and biological weapons and attempt to recruit new devotees to the terrorist group, the release said.
For example, Dais posted videos providing step-by-step instructions on how to make an explosive belt with dynamite and she provided a detailed recipe for the poison Ricin, the release added.
Dais faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years, a maximum life term of supervised release and a maximum fine of $250,000 at her sentencing scheduled for September 12, according to the release.
