Russia Registers 2 Truce Breaches In Syria Over Past 24 Hours - Russian Military

The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered two truce breaches in the country over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side has recorded 13 ceasefire violations, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said on Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th April, 2019) The Russian side of the Russian-Turkish commission monitoring the implementation of the Syrian ceasefire has registered two truce breaches in the country over the past 24 hours, while the Turkish side has recorded 13 ceasefire violations, the Russian Defense Ministry's Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria said on Friday.
"Over the last 24 hours, the Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered 2 cases of firing in the provinces of Latakia (1) and Hama (1). The Turkish side has registered 13 cases of ceasefire violations in the provinces of Aleppo (6), Hama (4) and Idlib (3)," the center said in its daily bulletin.
The center added that Russian military held a humanitarian action in Duma city, Damascus province, delivering 500 food sets with a total weight of over 2 tonnes to local residents.
The number of areas that have signed reconciliation agreements did not change, standing at 2,518. The number of armed formations claiming that they observe the ceasefire similarly remained the same � 234.
Russia, alongside Turkey and Iran, is a guarantor of the ceasefire regime in Syria. Moscow has also been assisting Damascus through supporting the struggle against terrorist groups, providing humanitarian aid to local residents and facilitating the return of refugees.
