Russia To Host Astana Format Summit On Syria In Early January - Deputy Foreign Minister

The next Astana format summit on the Syrian settlement will take place in Russia in the beginning of the next month, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Friday
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 28th December, 2018) The next Astana format summit on the Syrian settlement will take place in Russia in the beginning of the next month, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Friday.
"It is our turn now to host the summit of the guarantor countries, that is, the meeting of the Turkish, Iranian and Russian presidents.
It is expected to take place some time in the first week of the [next] year, in the beginning of the year. It depends on the working schedules of the presidents," the diplomat told reporters.
