Saudi Energy Minister Unable to Attend World Economic Forum in Davos - Source

DOHA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 22nd January, 2019) Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Falih will not attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting that will open in the Swiss ski resort of Davos on Tuesday, a source familiar with the plans of the Saudi delegation told Sputnik.

"The minister's plans have changed, he will be unable to attend the forum this year," the source said on Monday without specifying the reason for such a decision.

UK Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Donald Trump have also canceled their trips to the forum in order to address domestic problems.
