Sweden's Ruling Social Democrats Lead EU Elections With 25.1% Of Vote - Exit Polls

STOCKHOLM (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 27th May, 2019) Sweden's ruling Social Democrats party is leading in the European parliamentary elections with 25.1 percent of the vote, preliminary exit polls conducted by Swedish SVT broadcaster showed Sunday.
According to the poll, Sweden's conservative Moderate Party is at second place with 17.
6 percent of the vote and the anti-immigration Sweden Democrats party is not far behind with 16.9 percent of the vote.
If the poll holds, the Social Democrats will keep five seats in the European Parliament, the Moderates will win four seats and the Sweden Democrats will grow from two to three seats.
The final results will be released at 11:00 p.m. local time (21:00 GMT).
