UK's May Says To Stand Down Before 2022 General Election - Reports

UK Prime Minister Theresa May told Conservative lawmakers before a confidence vote on Wednesday she would not lead them into the next general election, local media said.
May told the 1922 Committee she was not going to "fight" the next election in 2022, according to The Guardian newspaper, but she did not set a date for her intended resignation.
