Results of NA-162 Sahiwal-III Bye-Election held on 19 September 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 19th September 2016 in National Assembly constituency NA-162 Sahiwal-III. Ch. Muhammad Tufail from Pakistan Muslim League (n) got 73813 votes and was elected as Member National Assembly (MNA). The first runner up was Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal from Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf who got 61998 votes. Total 7 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 340347 voters registered in NA-162, out of which 155330 votes were polled out, 153697 votes were valid and 1633 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 46 % for NA-162 constituency of National Assembly.
