General Elections 2013

General Election 2013 were held in Pakistan on 11th May 2013. The total registered number of votes for National Assembly were 84207524, and 46217482 votes were polled, the turnout was 55.02%. For Provincial assemblies the total registered votes were 82215484, and 45431956 votes were polled, the turnout was 55.26%. The votes were casted for 272 National Assembly NA seats, 297 Provincial Punjab (PA), 130 Provincial Sindh (PS), 51 Provincial Balochistan (PB) and 99 Provincial Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KPK (PK) Assemblies. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) got majority in National assembly with 128 general seats, and 14,874,104 votes, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPPP) got second majority with 33 general seats and 6,911,218 votes and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) got third position with 28 seats and 7,679,954 votes.
