Results of PS-117 Karachi West-VI Bye-Election held on 2 June 2016

The Bye-Election was held on 2nd June 2016 in Provincial Sindh Assembly constituency PS-117 Karachi West-VI. Syed Muhammad Qamar Abbas Rizvi from Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan got 10738 votes and was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA). The first runner up was Ali Raza (psn) from Islami Tehreek Pakistan who got 1018 votes. Total 10 candidates from different political parties & independent candidates participated in the Bye-Election. There were total 163746 voters registered in PS-117, out of which 14235 votes were polled out, 14156 votes were valid and 79 votes were rejected. The total percentage of valid votes was 9 % for PS-117 constituency of National Assembly.
