Trump Says Stock Market Would Crash If He Got Impeached

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) US President Donald Trump on Thursday predicted the US stock market would crash if he were impeached.

"I don't know how you can impeach somebody who's done a great job. I'll tell you what if I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash, I think everybody would be very poor," Trump told FOX news broadcaster answering the question whether he believed his impeachment was possible after the midterm elections in the country.

The upcoming elections will be held in the middle of US Republican President Donald Trump's term in November. During the vote scheduled for November 6, US voters will elect one-third of the US Senate, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and governors of 36 states.
