UAF Inks MoU With Veterinary College China

University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Shangdong Vocational Animal Sciences and Veterinary College, China inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen ties in area of academia and research
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jan, 2018 ) :University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) and Shangdong Vocational Animal Sciences and Veterinary College, China inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen ties in area of academia and research.
The MoU was duly inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar and the Chinese college Vice President Dr Zhou Qinhu at the syndicate room UAF. In the MoU, it was agreed upon to promote the integration of education and production.
The meeting also okayed to establish the animal and veterinary trainings centre. It was agreed to develop the teaching resources projects of mutual interest and to carry out multi-level vocational education and training.
The meeting also gave the nod to conduct exchange of faculty and research scholars; and the other areas of mutual concern in the science and technology programs.
Talking to delegation, UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar said that the university had inked as many as 35 MoUs with different Chinese institution in the area of academia and researches.
He said that 40 university teaching faculty had completed their PhD from China. He said that Pak China and enjoying deep rooted relations that are deeper than sea and higher than the occasion. Dr Zhou Qinhu said that mutual work would bring the tangible results and will help address the common challenges.
He said that Pakistan and China are enjoying long and time tested relations. Registrar Muhammad Hussain; Deans Dr Ahrar Khan, Dr Muhammad Sajjad, Dr Amjad Aulak, Dr Allah Buksh, Dr Ashar Bajwa; Director External Linkage Dr Muhammad Rasheed, Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi and other notables attended the meeting.
