Weeklong In-service Professional Development Training At University Of Veterinary And Animal Sciences

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) organised a weeklong in-service professional development training to build capacity of ministerial staff here at the City Campus in Lahore.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) organised a weeklong in-service professional development training to build capacity of ministerial staff here at the City Campus in Lahore.
The theme of the project is "In-service Training Facility of Advance Veterinary Education and Professional Development for Veterinary Professionals" funded by the Punjab government. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha presided over the inaugural session of the training and delivered an informative lecture on the topic of good governance systems and structure in higher education institution while Associate Professor Dr Hafsa Zaneb and 20 of the training participants (junior clerks) were present.
The weeklong training will cover the major areas related to good governance, quality assurance in academics and research related activities, communication skills, how to manage financial resources purchase process,audit and accounts, writing skills, information technology equipment management and administrative skills, etc.
Meanwhile, Department of Pathology of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore organised a 2-days hands-on training workshop on "Necropsy Examination of Poultry/Large and Small Ruminants/Companion Animals" in City Campus Lahore.
The aim of the workshop was to provide an opportunity to postgraduate students, field veterinarians and young faculty members to update their necropsy skills.
