Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid Says No To Lady Health Workers Demands

Dr Rashid said the lady workers are playing politics on the issue.
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19th March 2019) Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said the government will not surrender before the ‘unjustified’ demands of the lady health workers.
Talking to media here, she said how the government could provide a salary of an officer to middle class passed lady workers.
She said the government was ready to accept their fair demands but would not be blackmailed from their hands.
She said that among 44,000 lady health workers in Punjab only 1,000 had staged the sit-in which proved that it was only a politics. Dr. Yasmin said the leaders of lady workers were playing politics on the issue.
This is important to mention here that the sit-in of around 1,000 lady workers had entered into the second day on Tuesday. The protestors were demanding up-grade of pay scales and an increase in salaries.
