The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) in Indian occupied Kashmir has strongly condemned the re-arrest of its illegally detained district president Bandipora, Assadullah Parray, by the Indian police soon after his release from Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Aug, 2018 ) :The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML) in Indian occupied Kashmir has strongly condemned the re-arrest of its illegally detained district president Bandipora, Assadullah Parray, by the Indian police soon after his release from Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu.

According to Kashmir media service , the JKML spokesman, Sajjad Ayubi, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the police took Assadullah Parray into custody immediately after he was released from Kot Bhalwal Jail on court orders.

He said that the police first lodged the JKML leader at an interrogation centre in Jammu and later shifted him to Sumbal Police Station in Bandipora. He termed the action as the worst form of human rights violation and state terrorism.

The spokesman said that Assadullah Parray's six children were facing immense hardships. "Maria, the eldest sibling among the six children, has been taking care of the family in her father's absence.

The absence of any male member in the family has made the situation of children even worse. One of Parray's daughters is seriously ill and is in need of her father's presence," he stated.

The spokesman further said that another daughter of the illegally detained leader was suffering from a skin disease that required her to visit hospital for treatment. "Another daughter of Assadullah Parray is suffering from trauma and is also on medication. It is hard to manage and sometimes there are no medicines available for them," he added.

The spokesman said through brutal tactics, India would not be able to break the resolve of Assadullah Parray. He appealed to the world human rights organizations to take cognizance of the matter and play their role in the release of the JKML leader without any further delay.
