Kashmiris duty bound to advance martyrs' mission: Syed Ali Gilani

The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in Indian occupied Kashmir has said that the youth are sacrificing their precious lives to end the forcible control of their motherland by India.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Dec, 2018 ) :The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in Indian occupied Kashmir has said that the youth are sacrificing their precious lives to end the forcible control of their motherland by India.

According to Kashmir media service , Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar while paying glorious tributes to the three youth including a minor, who were martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation at Mujgund in Srinagar, yesterday, said the Kashmiri people are duty bound to carry their mission to its logical conclusion.

"Since past three decades, our people while nourishing freedom movement and demanding their right to self-determination, have presented huge sacrifices, however, New Delhi with its military might, brutally killed thousands of innocent people," Gilani said.

"New Delhi's haughty and stubborn approach is responsible for continuous bloodshed in the territory. We are peaceful people and frequent cordon operations resulting into the martyrdom of youth, is a matter of serious concern for us," he added.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, Gilani said, "The UNHRC was established in 1948 to safeguard the individual and collective human rights throughout the world to ensure global peace and tranquility, but unfortunately it has failed to uphold its own slogan." "In Myanmar those, fighting for decades for democracy, even they threaten the life and honor their Muslim population.

Hundreds of Rhohingia Muslims are being burned alive and thousands are forced to leave their homeland. But world champions of peace and human rights voices are muted.

They are comatose and unmoved but still celebrate the human rights day on 10th December each year," he deplored.

"In India too, hundreds of seminars and symposiums will be held throughout the country, worst enemies of humanitiesand human blood suckers will be distinguished in such events, but so-called world's largest democracy has forcibly controlled our unfortunate land and has deprived us from our religious, political and social rights for last seven decades," he added.
