Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Terms Notices Issued To Syed Ali Gilani, Muhammad Yasin Malik By IED Cheap Tactics

Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq,in Indian occupied Kashmir, has termed the notices issued to APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik by India's Enforcement Directorate (IED) as cheap tactics.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Aug, 2018 ) :Hurriyat forum Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq,in Indian occupied Kashmir, has termed the notices issued to APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani and JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik by India's Enforcement Directorate (IED) as cheap tactics.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq addressing a gathering at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar, today, said that such moves could not intimidate the Hurriyat leadership into submission. He said the Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested several Hurriyat leaders and fake cases and now the resistance leadership is being targeted through the IED.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq also condemned the raids on the residences of Hurriyat leaders and activists and harassment of the family members especially women and children by Indian troops and described it the worst kind of human rights violation and frustration of the authorities.
He also appealed to the people of Kashmir to observe complete shutdown on August 26 and 27 against the onslaught on the Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees special rights and privileges of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
