112-years History Of Faisalabad Highlighted In Pictures

FAISALABAD, Dec 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Dec, 2016 ) : A two-day exhibition of historical pictures of Faisalabad district was organised at Iqbal Auditorium, University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday under the auspices of City Traffic Police.

Provincial Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs Tahir Khalil Sindhu inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated efforts of traffic police for highlighting history of Faisalabad.

The 112-years history of Lyallpur to Faisalabad district from 1904 to 2016, including pictures of Sardar Bhagat Singh, horse train, Clock Tower, old railway stations, district council, Saddar areas of Lyallpur, history of Jarranwala, Tandlianwala, important personalities of the district, cultural heritage, worship places, and other rare pictures were displayed.

A large number of people, including women,children and students of universities and colleges, visited the exhibition.
