12 Smoke Emitting Vehicles Fined For Pollution In Dera Ghazi Khan

The Environment Department has imposed fine Rs 10,500 on 12 smoke emitting vehicles here on Wednesday.
DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :The Environment Department has imposed fine Rs 10,500 on 12 smoke emitting vehicles here on Wednesday.
In line with special directions of Punjab government, Deputy Director Environment Syed Ashfaq Hussain Bukhari along with traffic police officials launched an operation against smoke emitting vehicles across the district.
During the operation, the Deputy Director Environment challaned 12 vehicles for causing environmental pollution. The team also imposed fine Rs 10,500 on such vehicles and got registered an FIR against a driver with the concerned police station.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Director Environment Syed Ashfaq Hussain Bukhari stated that operation would continue without any discrimination as per directives of the Deputy Commissioner Ali Akbar Bhatti.
