15 human smugglers arrested in Sargodha

FIA police have arrested 15 travel agents and recovered illegal documents and passports from their possession.

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :FIA police have arrested 15 travel agents and recovered illegal documents and passports from their possession.

Police sources said Tuesday that on the direction of Additional Director FIA Faisalabad Sajid Akram, two FIA teams conducted raids at different illegal travel agencies in Sargodha and Faisalabad districts and arrested 15 travel agents involved in human smuggling.

The travel agents had deprived 21 people of Rs 2.6 million in the pretext of sending them abroad.

The police recovered passports, ID cards and other documents from them.

The accused are: Nasir, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Ghafoor, Ramzan Rasheed, Ehsan, Feroz Qaisar, Irfan, Azeem, Shabbir and others.

Cases have been registered against the accused.
