4 Illegal Housing Colonies Sealed In Faisalabad

Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) sealed 4 illegal housing colonies at Jaranwala Road.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Dec, 2018 ) :Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) sealed 4 illegal housing colonies at Jaranwala Road.

FDA spokesman said here Saturday that among these colonies include Nasir Town, Ghafoor Town, Azhar Town and Model Town villas situated at Jaranwala Road.

He said that under Local Government Ordinance 2001 and Development of Citizens Act 1976, all the housing scheme developers were bound to seek permission from the FDA before developing any residential scheme or starting constructions, but developers of these housing schemes started constructions without getting prior permission from the FDA.

Taking notice of the irregularity, a team of FDA Town Planning Directorate teams headed by Deputy Director Arshad Iqbal Warraich, Assistant Director Muhammad Abraheem and Encroachment Inspector Muhammad Aslam Gujjar sealed premises of these housing colonies besides demolishing their offices and boundary walls and further action in this regard was under way, spokesman added.
