46 lawbreakers including eight for possessing weapons, 14 renting rules violators arrested in Rawalpindi

Police have arrested 46 lawbreakers including eight for possessing weapons and 14 Punjab Renting Rules violators besides recovering 9850 grams charras, 150 grams heroin, 10 grams Ice, 115 liters liquor, two bottles of liquor, eight 30 bore pistols with 66 rounds and other items from the possession

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd May, 2019 ) :Police have arrested 46 lawbreakers including eight for possessing weapons and 14 Punjab Renting Rules violators besides recovering 9850 grams charras, 150 grams heroin, 10 grams Ice, 115 liters liquor, two bottles of liquor, eight 30 bore pistols with 66 rounds and other items from the possession.

According to a police spokesman, Sadiqabad police held Darwaish Khan for having 2200 grams charras and Zia with 1050 grams charras. New Town police rounded up Nadeem for possessing 1350 grams charras. Kalar Syedan police seized 1500 grams charras and netted Abid while Zeeshan and Qasim were sent behind the bars for carrying 1220 and 210 grams charras respectively. R.A.Bazar police also seized 1060 grams charras and nabbed Zia ur Rehman.

Taxila police held Toqeer for possessing 20 liters liquor, Sohail with 10 liters liquor and Bilal for having 10 liters liquor.

Gujar Khan police rounded up Nasir for having 15 liters liquor and Hamza with 10 liters liquor. Saddar Wah police also seized 20 liters liquor and arrested Naveed. Similarly, New Town police conducted a raid and recovered 10 liters liquor from Basharat. Cantt police held Asif for having 10 liters liquor while Westridge police detained Rais for possessing five liters liquor.

Other accused were sent behind the bars for having drugs, liquor and weapons.

Meanwhile, Sadiqabad police conducted raids in different areas in its jurisdiction and took action against Punjab Renting Rules violators as they did not pass on the required information to police. 14 violators including Murtaza, Muhammad Abbas, Mohsin Ali and others were booked.
