567 Suspects, 241 POs Arrested In Tank

District police have arrested 567 suspects and 241 Proclaimed Offenders (POs) and recovered huge quantity of drugs and ammunition during ongoing drive against anti-social elements, said a spokesman of on Monday.
He said, during a rigorous drive in different areas of the district, the police have rounded up 567 culprits including 241 POs wanted to police in different cases heinous crimes including murder, drugs trafficking and others.
The drive initiated on the behest of Regional Police Officer DI Khan region Dar Ali Khattak is going on for the last few months.
The spokesman maintained that police seized 24 Kalashnikov,120 rifles of different bores, two Kalakovs, 76 guns, 204 pistols, 24 daggers and 7303 cartridges of different bores.
He added that the drugs traffickers had also been circled, adding that so far 156 kg hashish, four kg heroin, five kg opium, five gram Ice and a bottle of liquor had also been recovered from their possession.
