Abbottabad Bar Election On March 31

ABBOTTABAD, Mar 28(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2018 ) ::Scrutiny process of District Bar Association (DBA) Abbottabad election for year 2018-19 on Wednesday has been completed and the elections would be held on 31 March 2018.

According to the details, regarding seats of president and general secretary, there would be one on one contest while rest of the body members were elected unopposed. Qazi Muhammad Azhar advocate and Khan Gul advocate who was also present president of DBA would contest for the top slot while Zafar Iqbal advocate and Musadaq Khan advocate would contest for general secretary DBA.

The unopposed elected members of DBA were including Vice President DBA, Iftikhar Tanooli, Additional Sectary, Arshad advocate and all the members. All candidates for President and General Secretary slots of DBA has started campaign to convince lawyers community in their favor.

According to the DBA election committee notification, election would be conducted on 31 March 2018 at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Bar Club Abbottabad. Ghulam Mohayuddin Khan advocate will perform duties of election commissioner. APP/hmd-mds
