All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) is contesting elections on 46 NAs seats and 170 Provincial seats in all four provinces including the federal capital.

Chairman AMPL Dr Mohammad Amjad, who is contesting elections from three Constituencies including NA-53 Islamabad, NA-1 Chitral and NA-147 Sahiwal, told APP on Thursday that the nation should join hands with the honest leadership of his party. He said his party devised a comprehensive election strategy to approach each voter in the country. He said APML, in its manifesto, assured that our development strategy will focus on increasing GDP to minimum 6 percent annually, adding that exports will be enhanced through market diversification and an industrial policy to encourage SME and product diversification.

Dr. Amjad said that his party's focus will be on strengthening economy, communication infrastructure, water management, agriculture, energy, industry, environment, human resource, education, peace, health, population control, poverty alleviation and employment generation, media, culture, heritage and sport. He said we have full faith in the resilience, dynamism and enterprise of the people of Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan is endowed with abundant water, fertile land, resources of energy, natural resources and dynamic human resource.

Dr. Muhammad Amjad said that there is no reason why we should not be able to stand on our own feet as a proud, forward looking and progressive state in the comity of nations.
