ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Ministry of Human Rights would table Anti-Torture Bill in the upcoming session of National Assembly and was also taking up the issue of forced disappearances, said Minister for Human Rights here on Friday.

She said trust between police and public needed to be strengthened.

The ministry was working on prisoners reforms, criminal justice reforms and to improve law and order situation, she added.

She said that the different provinces are following different legislation regarding the working of police department.

The Federal Minister also underscored the need of improving working conditions of police department and said police lacked resources. "We need to give them proper resources dignity and respect", she concluded.
