Arrangements Finalized For PK-7 By-poll; 86 Overseas Pakistanis To Cast Vote First Time

The Election Commission Pakistan and district administration have finalized arrangements and security measures for by-poll scheduled for October 14, in PK-7. 86 overseas Pakistanis for the first time in the history of Pakistan could use right to vote.

Returning Officer for PK-7 Inayatur Rehman talking to media here said that all the arrangements have been finalized for the elections where 155719 registered would use their right to vote.
He said that a total 95 polling stations have been set up in the constituency including 40 male's, 36 female's and 19 joint, adding that 88948 males and 66771 females besides 86 overseas Pakistani would cast vote on the polling day.
He said that police, Pak Army and other security forces would perform security duty. The polling process would start at 8am and would continue till 5pm without any break.
Nobody would be allowed to bring mobile phone, camera and any other item in the polling station. The media persons and election agents would only be allowed entry in polling station if they would have the card issued by Election Commission of Pakistan.
Election Commission and Returing Officer would issueelection results through RTS, he informed.
