By-poll Result Reflects Confidence Of People On PML-N Leadership

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Apr, 2017 ) : Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders Wednesday termed the victory of PML-N candidate in PP-23 Talagang by-poll as vote of confidence by the people for their party leadership.
Talking to APP, PML-N leader and MNA Sohail Shaukat Butt said that victory of PML-N's Malik Shehryar Awan in the by-poll reflected the confidence of the people on PML-N leadership and its policies.
Senator Kulsoom Parveen said that people have shown that they only want progress and prosperity and those who have lost this seat, earlier won by them,should re-consider their attitude. She said that such elements should give up politics of anarchy and support government's efforts for the progress of the country.
PML-N MNA,Pervaiz Malik and PML-N leader,Chairman Evacue Trust Property board(ETPB) Siddiq-ul-Farooq said PTI would face a major setback in the next general elections as its government in KP has done nothing for the people's welfare.
MPA Majid Zahoor said that people of Talagang have voted in favour of hard work, honesty and transparency maintained by the government and rejected sit-in/protest politics. It is pertinet to mention here that as many as eight independent candidates contested Tuesday's by-poll on this seat which fell vacant due to the demise of PML-N MPA Malik Zahoor.
