Chief Commissioner Islamabad Orders For Land Record Correction

Chief Commissioner Islamabad Aftab Akbar Durrani Tuesday directed the district administration to carry out correction of land revenue record in Islamabad Capital Territory in consultation with the Capital Development Authority.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2018 ) :Chief Commissioner Islamabad Aftab Akbar Durrani Tuesday directed the district administration to carry out correction of land revenue record in Islamabad Capital Territory in consultation with the Capital Development Authority.

He also directed to take strict legal action against land grabbers those illegally occupying citizens' properties. He gave these directives during a meeting chaired by him. He said correct maintenance of land revenue record is need of the hour and to take strict action against those involved in occupying citizens land.

He directed the officials to formulate a policy in coordination with the Capital Development Authority for ascertaining correct land record. The district revenue officials were also directed to closely monitor the performance of each Patwar Circle and take strict action against the corrupt persons.

The chief commissioner said that strict action would be taken against those involved in any illegal practice in land matters.
