Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak Directs Early Completion Of Bus Rapid Transit Peshawar

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed to follow the timeliness for the completion of different packages of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2018 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed to follow the timeliness for the completion of different packages of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar.
He will never compromise on the timeliness and the quality of work. The timely completion of this mega project will give one solution to all traffic congestion and the people would heave a sigh of relief.
He said this while addressing the participants of the weekly progress review meeting on BRT at Chief Minister House Peshawar on Wednesday. Advisor to Chief Minister for Transport Malik Shah Muhammad Wazir, District Nazim Peshawar Arbab Asim, Additional Chief Secretary, Secretary Transport, Head of SSU, Chairman Chief Minister Complaint Cell and other relevant officials attended the meeting.
The Chief Minister directed for the accelerated relocation of the remaining utilities and early completion of parking plazas. He also directed for widening of certain stations in order to give improved facilities to the cycle riding and footpath and pedestrianization.
The security side overall scheme should be properly looked into and the beauty of the project should be ensured, he said. The meeting was informed about the completion phase of the underground and surface infrastructure of the BRT adding that work on all packages of the project was going on with full swing.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to complete this challenging job under the time line hoping that this project would add to the beauty of Peshawar city.
