BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th May, 2019 ) :Commissioner Bahawalpur division, Nayyar Iqbal has urged officials and departments concerned to ensure timely achieving target of revenue generation.
He was addressing a video link meeting of officials of all three districts of the division including Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahimyar Khan.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur, Shozeb Saeed, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalnagar, Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal, Deputy Commissioner Rahimyar Khan, Jameel Ahmed Jameel, Additional Commissioner (Coordination) Aftab Ahmed Pirzada and other officials.
The meeting was told that total target of revenue generation for Bahawalpur division was set Rs 6001 million.
"The target of revenue generation includes Rs 1877 million on head of property transfer/registry fee, Rs 3458 million on head of stamp duty, Rs 396 million on head of agriculture tax and Rs 270 million on head of water tax," the meeting was informed.
It was further told that so far a sum of Rs 5001 million had been deposited in national exchequer out of revenue generation target of Rs 6001 million. "The departments concerned have generate a sum of Rs 1564 million on head of property transfer fee, Rs 2882 million on head of stamp duty, Rs 330 million on head of agriculture tax and Rs 225 million on head of water tax," it was told.
