Commissioner Gujranwala Reviews Security Arrangements

Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Asad Ullah Fiaz alowng with RPO Gujranwala, AIG Shahid Hanif Thursday visited here to check security arrangements made by district government for Yum-e-Ashura.

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :Commissioner Gujranwala Division, Asad Ullah Fiaz alowng with RPO Gujranwala, AIG Shahid Hanif Thursday visited here to check security arrangements made by district government for Yum-e-Ashura.

Deputy Commissioner, Muhammad Tahir Watto and DPO Abdul Ghaffar Qaisrani briefed them about Moharram Security Plan. The DC said that more than 180 CCTV cameras have been installed to cover A category processions and Majalis. He further said that a control room has also been established at DC office to monitor the whole activities in district.

He said that 250 officials of civil defense have also been deputed besides police officials to cover processions and Majalis.

Commissioner Asad said that it was utmost priority of the government to maintain peace during the month of Moharram. He directed the district administer to use all available resources to maintain law and order andpeacefull observancae of Yaum-e-Ashur
