Computerized Driving Licenses To Be Issued In Tribal District

Khyber Patkhtunkhwa Traffic Police have decided to extend issuing of computerized driving licenses to merged tribal districts
According to traffic police, license branch has issued 427,871 computerized driving licenses last year. As part of traffic reforms, a traffic management school has been established at Kohat in which so far 349 terrific sergeants were imparted necessary training regarding traffic laws in 4 courses conducted in the school.
These reforms have been welcomed by all segments of the society by terming them as need of the hour to overcome traffic problems.
Peshawar traffic police has revamped the existing traffic management system and introduced a fresh traffic warden system. The new traffic warden system is predicated on the principle of public facilitation and transparent enforcement.
The facilitation and awareness features include a mobile traffic workshop unit,accident recovery unit for recurring and providing relief to injured,damaged and accident vehicle.
