Dawat-e-Islami Discusses Rabiul-Awwal Arrangements With Mayor Karachi

A delegation comprising members of Dawat-e-Islami Coordination Committee called on Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar to discuss arrangements in Faizan-e-Madina Markaz and in Hussainabad, F.B area for the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, at his office on Monday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Oct, 2018 ) :A delegation comprising members of Dawat-e-Islami Coordination Committee called on Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar to discuss arrangements in Faizan-e-Madina Markaz and in Hussainabad, F.B area for the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, at his office on Monday.

The members include Muhammad Yaqoob Attari and Muhammad Yahya Attari, who asked the Mayor to carry out repairing and patchwork of roads around Faizan-e-Madina and removal of encroachments with repair of street lights, said a statement.

Chairman of DMC East Moeed Anwer, Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Syed Saif ur Rehman, Director Technical to Mayor S. M Shakaib, Senior Director Anti-encroachments Bashir Siddiqui and other officers concerned were also present on this occasion.

Akhtar said that Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) will make all arrangements for Rabi-ul-Awwal with the coordination of district Municipal Corporation concerned.

He also directed the chairman of works committee to conduct a survey of the area and start the repairing and patch work of the roads in the aforesaid areas.

He also instructed the anti-encroachments and mechanical and electrical department to ensure removal of encroachments and repair street lights.

He said that trimming of trees on University road was also necessary to avoid any traffic accident.

He also directed to carry out works in Hussainabad to facilitate the participant of Rabi-ul-Awwal processions and other religious events.
