DC Directs Action Against Shopkeepers For Not Displaying Price Lists

ASTORE (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jan, 2017 ) : The Deputy Commissioner Astore Rehman Shah on Thursday directed the magistrates and assistant commissioner Astore to take strict action against shopkeepers for not displaying price lists and selling commodities of daily use on high rates.
The DC issued these directives after receiving complaints from people about selling of goods on higher prices in the city. The magistrates conducted surprise raids and warned different shopkeepers to follow the rates given by the local Government.
Magistrate Mohammad Rasool said surprise raids upon instructions of DC has been started and strict action would be taken against violators. He warned butchers to sell meat on Government rates otherwise they would be sent to the jail.
