BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2019 ) :Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Shozab Saeed visited Derawar, Cholistan on Wednesday to inspect the development scheme of Archaeology Department for restoration and preservation of the Derawar Fort.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs115.7 million.

Archaeology department has already spent Rs38 million on the project. Deputy Commissioner directed to preserve the important areas of the fort at the earliest and make all-out efforts to restore the originality of the historical landmark.

Deputy Commissioner was briefed about the progress of the work done for preservation and restoration of the fort.
