NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2019 ) :Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Abrar Ahmed Jaffar, has suspended two revenue officials on public complaints while inquiry was ordered against others.

The DC hold an open katchehry at the office of Assistant Commissioner Daur on Tuesday to hear the complaints of general public in order to promptly resolve the issues. Numerous complaints were piled up against Patwarees on which the DC took prompt action and suspended one Patwaree on the spot while an enquiry was ordered to Assistant Commissioner against other patwarees.

Majority of the complaints pertained to issue of Sale Certificate and Registration for which patwarees demand huge graft.

Complainants alleged that Revenue clerk Imtiaz Wagan was demanding bribe for issuing documents of lands.

The DC took immediate notice of the complaint and issued suspension orders of the revenue clerk on the spot.

A public complaint cell would be set up at DC office, he said and appealed to general public to support him in rooting out corruption from the department.

On a complaint of a citizen of Daur, Chanaser Dahari, that an influential person had occupied his two plots, the DC formed a three-members committee consisting Assistant Commissioners of Nawabshah and Daur, and Mukhtiarkar Nawabshah to look into the matter.

Later, the deputy commissioner visited the ongoing drainage schemes at Daur initiated by Public Health Engineering Department.

He directed Engineer Public Health Department to improve the standard of work.
