PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Jan, 2017 ) : District administration Monday sealed six illegal factories established in the residential area of Shah Qabool and arrested the owners.
On the directives of Acting Deputy Commissioner, Peshawar, Shahid Mahmood, the Additional Assistant Commissioners (AACs), Abdul Nabi and Syed Shah Zeb along with Assistant Town Officer Revenue (ATOR), Town-I, Mohammad Ayaz Durrani sealed six illegal factories of making cotton from cloth and arrested their owners.
The administration was receiving complaints that the factories have been established in the residential areas spreading pollution and the labourers of the units are suffering from TB, asthma and different other diseases.
The diseases are also spreading in the area. Furthermore, the operation the machinery of these factories also damaging the adjacent houses. The owners were already issued notices, but they continued their businesses.
The arrested persons would be dealt as per law of the province. Meanwhile, the district administration also visited different Patwarkhanas of district Peshawar. During the visit, the officials of the district administration checked their record and directed to carrying activities within their Constituencies and make the access of people to record easy.
